About Toria…
Toria English has a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics and spent 10 years in pension fund management before deciding to focus fully on her children’s education. This led her on a quest to demystify the American education system.
Toria has lived in Boston, San Francisco, Austin, Houston, Barcelona and NYC. Having homeschooled her children in four of these cities, she has had the unique opportunity to evaluate the wide range of educational opportunities across the country.
Toria expected NYC student competition to be fierce, but she was shocked to find that many families are offered little to no guidance when it comes to managing this massive educational landscape. With over 700 high school programs to choose from and the application process changing every year, how do you manage?
Through diligent research and determination, Toria has successfully navigated this gauntlet. She now is helping other families do the same.
